Itinerary
Day 1
Travel
Get ready to have an epic Mysore trip as we have a lot in store for you. You’ll be picked up from the Mysore Railway Station and taken to your hotel where you can freshen up. Your first stop for the day is going to be the Chamundi hills to seek the blessings of Goddess Chamundeshwari. The temple resides at the top of the hills and is magnificent in every way possible. After this, we will visit the statue of Mahishasura and Nandi located on the summit of the Chamundi hills. The Nandi statue is believed to have been built at least 350 years ago. Next on the list is a place that is a quintessential part of a Mysore trip and that is the Mysore Palace. Standing in all its glory and unimaginable beauty, the Palace is built in Indo-Saracenic style and blends together Hindu, Muslim, Rajput, and Gothic styles of architecture. After all that maharaja dazzle we will then head up to the St. Philomena’s Cathedral. It enjoys the status of being one of the largest churches in India and the second largest in Asia with its gothic demeanour and excellent architecture. Next, we leave for the KRS dam, short for Krishna Raja Sagara dam which is built over the Kaveri river. Brindavan Gardens is our last stop for the day. This mesmerising terrace garden is built beneath the dam with boat rides, botanical parks and musical fountains. After this long day of sightseeing we will return back to our hotel for the night.


Day 2
Content
After breakfast we leave for Coorg from Mysore. On our way, we shall visit the following places. First is the Tibetan Monastery in Bylakuppe where one can get lost in the calm and spiritual ambiance of the place. This monastery is the largest Tibetan settlement in India with over 1600 Tibetan refugees. Next up is the Nisargadhama Forest Park, a 64-acre island, surrounded by the Kaveri river with just one hanging bridge being the access point. This beautiful park allows visitors to soak in the beauty of nature and truly have a one of a kind experience. After this enchanting visit, we head over to the Dubare Elephant Camp to say hi to some elephants in the vicinity who are trained by naturalists. Next, we have some exciting activities planned for you. Get ready to have some adrenaline rush as we buckle up for white water river rafting which is one of the sought out adventures offered by the mountainous gradient of Coorg that provides the best conditions for such activities. Last stop for the day is one where the Islamic architectural style meets the Gothic style to assemble a Hindu temple. The legend has it that the temple was built as a form of penance by the king.
Day 3

After some soul-satisfying Coorgi breakfast, we will head over to what is believed to be the source of the Kaveri river, that is the Talakaveri Waterfall and temple. Next we pay a visit to the Bhagamandala Triveni Sangam where nature and spirituality combine to provide its visitors with a magical experience. Located at the foothills of Talakaveri, this is the merger of three rivers namely Kaveri, Kannike and Sujyoti. After this we head over to Shri Bhagandeshwara Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and reflects the alluring Kerala style of architecture. Next, we head over to a breathtaking view point called the Raja’s Seat. Lush greenery and the hint of gold sunshine makes it a view worth capturing a thousand pictures of.


Day 4

On this last day in this paradise, after breakfast and check out from the hotel, if the departure time permits, we shall visit the Abbey Falls. With its undeniable scenic charm and the aroma of coffee plantations as it is located between the plantations and the spice estates with trees entwined with pepper vines, it is quite an attraction. Next, is the Madikeri Fort which stands tall in all its glory. You can explore the area and all the unique offerings that this grandeur holds. Later, you will be picked up and dropped off at your station.
The trip concludes with a heart full of lifetime memories and a mind full of much needed ease.
