Day

01 Travel

Here starts our Kodaikanal Diaries. This day includes only travelling to get to Kodaikanal, if you are a person who loves train journeys then this is going to be a very delightful journey for you.
Boarding the train from Madgaon station that leaves behind the Western Ghat trail and traverses into dense foliage interspersed with coffee and spice plantations. After reaching the Madurai Railway station, our bus will pick you up to take you to the hotel and rest.

Day packed with blessings and fun-filled activities

Kick-start your day with a scrumptious breakfast at a local cafe. After which go exploring the area starting with Kurinji Andavar temple seeking blessings of lord Muruga. Then proceed to Coakers walk to soak in the gorgeous mountain landscape. After lunch, go boating in the Kodai lake and catch the beautiful horizon which might just take your breath away. Return to the hotel with many beautiful memories and experiences.

Devil’s Kitchen welcomes you

After enjoying some amazing Kodai breakfast, warm up for a trek through an enchanting pine forest to Guna Caves also called the Devil’s Kitchen. After lunch, unwind and loosen up. The rest of the day shall be open for you to spend some personal time and soak in all that Kodai has to offer.

The Chocolate Factory Saga

Start your day surrounded with candies and chocolates that will add a sweet and savoury touch to your Kodaikanal saga
with a visit to the Kodai Chocolate Factory. For the fourth day, live your main character moments, explore Kodai the way you wish to. Go cafe-hopping, Check out the amazing bakeries and fresh fruits that this beautiful hill station has to offer. Go on a shopping spree and make sure that you tick off all the items on that big list that your friends and family have demanded!

The Museum Visit

On this day we are going to pay a visit to the wax museum. It houses wax statues of different celebrities as well as the replication of the very famous ‘Last Supper’. After this you will have the
rest of the day free and can spend it at your leisure. Go on a walk and enjoy the landscapes as the sun sets down and conclude your 5th day.
